Sin’s of My Father

o-SIX-GENERATIONS-570Exodus 34:7
7 I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations.[a]
I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin.
But I do not excuse the guilty.
I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren;
the entire family is affected—
even children in the third and fourth generations.”

God is willing to forgive our sin, just as we forgive the sins of our children. But he says there are consequences. Have you ever wondered why there are children that re born with physical defects? God is stating that we may not pay harshly for the sins we have committed, but that our children, grandchildren, great-grand children and grew-great grand children will pay for our sins. God said, “even children in the third and fourth generation.” We must teach our children well and be careful not to treat sin lightly, because we will be affecting our generations to come..

I Believe

I Believe.

I enjoy the poem, but it;s not clear as to what you  believe in is it true love between a man and a woman or between God an oneself. I suppose it is to the readers discretion. I would rather believe in the love of God, because that live is authentic. The other is temporary and not everlasting.
